I'll try not to. [God forbid he has the heir carry him the rest of the way. He walks along as best as he can, trying to keep his breathing even]

[...Just what the hell is he sick with? Silver tries walking a little further with him before stopping Archer.

Plan B.] Hop on. [Yeah, that's right, he intends to piggy back ride him home. His face pretty clearly tells that he really doesn't want to argue, discuss, or even think about this more than he has to.]

[Oh, hilarious, but he's not in the mood]

You can't be serious. [Look, he's still walking. Hobbling, but - whoa. Right, still walking]

Just- [He wavers in his steps, his ears ringing and his fingers starting to tingle] -your shoulder will do. Just...

[...He'll come in and wrap one of Archer's arms around his neck to hang off his other shoulder. There. Time to move.]

[He huffs out a laugh] I've worked under worse conditions.

Have and should are two really different things.

Fair point. [He's starting to lean more heavily on Silver] You know me too well.

I wish I didn't. [This would be so much faster if Archer would just let him carry him--]

[He can hold out, really. Like he said, he's been through worse.

Well, there's the door. Archer fumbles around for his card key and holds it to Silver. He can barely see straight]

[tsuntrader]

[...Wow. Uh. Alright, opening his door and guiding him in. Why does he have to deal with invalid Archer? Why couldn't he just show up later, when Archer wasn't sick to weigh down on his indebted conscience?]

[Stop all the thinking and just help him into his bedroom]

Medicine's in the bathroom cabinet...

[tsuntrader]

[He is allowed to think and help him to his bedroom, okay] Got it. [Now get the hell in your bed while he goes to find your medicine stuff.]

[He collapses into it and rolls onto his back, putting a hand over his eyes. The whole room feels like it's spinning around him. He can barely remember the last time he was this sick. Probably at...that one big building, full of bunk beds and...something. Fantastic, he's getting delirious]

[tsuntrader]

[Archer might feel something cool and soothing touch his forehead as he lies down. Sneasel's on ice pack duty.]

[Normally he would be appalled at having a Pokemon as his caretaker, but he can barely notice it's Sneasel in the first place. He twists uncomfortably beneath his bedsheets and breathes harshly]

[But Archer, Sneasel is a better caretaker than Silver is!

And Speaking of Silver, he's coming back with that medicine stuff Archer asked for and some water.]

[That's great, but Archer may need some help. He groans in discomfort and twists as the fever spikes his body]

[Silver really doesn't want to help Archer more than he absolutely has to.

...Yet here he is, conceding defeat and helping Archer take his medicine. Why did he sign up for this? ...How did Archer get so sick?

[Lots of late nights and long work hours. It's all for a great job and profit, profit, profit. It's worth it in the long run.

He attempts to sit up so that Silver doesn't have to spoon feed him medicine]

Does this happen often? [He might as well not bother, since Silver's planning to spoon feed him anyway.]

Not really. Sometimes. Perhaps... [He's not quite delirious enough to realize he's babbling, so he shuts up]

[tsuntrader]

...Has anyone ever told you that you're stupid? [Because you are. You are stupid and dumb and a moron. And a Rocket.]

[On the bright side, being a Rocket is a last on that list. Archer seems to not hear him and groans again, willing the medicine to work faster]
