[...Wow. Uh. Alright, opening his door and guiding him in. Why does he have to deal with invalid Archer? Why couldn't he just show up later, when Archer wasn't sick to weigh down on his indebted conscience?]

[Stop all the thinking and just help him into his bedroom]

Medicine's in the bathroom cabinet...

[He is allowed to think and help him to his bedroom, okay] Got it. [Now get the hell in your bed while he goes to find your medicine stuff.]

[He collapses into it and rolls onto his back, putting a hand over his eyes. The whole room feels like it's spinning around him. He can barely remember the last time he was this sick. Probably at...that one big building, full of bunk beds and...something. Fantastic, he's getting delirious]

[Archer might feel something cool and soothing touch his forehead as he lies down. Sneasel's on ice pack duty.]

[Normally he would be appalled at having a Pokemon as his caretaker, but he can barely notice it's Sneasel in the first place. He twists uncomfortably beneath his bedsheets and breathes harshly]

[But Archer, Sneasel is a better caretaker than Silver is!

And Speaking of Silver, he's coming back with that medicine stuff Archer asked for and some water.]

[That's great, but Archer may need some help. He groans in discomfort and twists as the fever spikes his body]

[Silver really doesn't want to help Archer more than he absolutely has to.

...Yet here he is, conceding defeat and helping Archer take his medicine. Why did he sign up for this? ...How did Archer get so sick?

[Lots of late nights and long work hours. It's all for a great job and profit, profit, profit. It's worth it in the long run.

He attempts to sit up so that Silver doesn't have to spoon feed him medicine]

Does this happen often? [He might as well not bother, since Silver's planning to spoon feed him anyway.]

Not really. Sometimes. Perhaps... [He's not quite delirious enough to realize he's babbling, so he shuts up]

...Has anyone ever told you that you're stupid? [Because you are. You are stupid and dumb and a moron. And a Rocket.]

[On the bright side, being a Rocket is a last on that list. Archer seems to not hear him and groans again, willing the medicine to work faster]

[...With a soft sigh, Silver goes to yank Archer's shoes off and rather unceremoniously pull his covers over him. Sleep, you idiot.]

[Make sure those shoes are put away properly and - oh, he doesn't care anymore, he'll worry about it later - yes, sleep, but one last thing]

[Finally. It doesn't take him long to crash, but his body keeps trembling a little while after he's fast asleep. He'll likely be out for several hours.

In the meantime, that means his apartment is free reign for snooping. Don't move things around too much]

[...Yeah, he probably shouldn't snoo- fuck that he's so snooping. What's outside of his bedroom?]

[The living room, kitchen, and study, of course. It looks very neat and a bit bare, if you can ignore the massive banners with red Rs on the walls, but overall a nice looking place. There's nothing too inconspicuous around, those the study does have some odd machine parts on the tables, then there's the thick photo albums and pictures on the bookshelves]

[...Photo albums and pictures...? He'll go check those out. Maybe there's something hidden behind one of the pictures or in the photo albums or something.]

[Nothing hidden like important card keys or documents, naturally, but Silver might find some of it interesting anyway. Some of the pictures in the frames are just scenery, but mixed between them are a few pictures of four familiar characters, two in black Admin uniforms and the other two in Grunt uniforms, and their hats pulled down low over their heads.

The photo albums are a little stranger, mainly filled with pictures of cold bases, forests, and fossils, but the last few are a bit more personal. One shows a young Ariana with short hair and a hand over her rounded stomach, then one of Giovanni looking out the window of his office, then one of Archer holding a new born child wrapped in blankets with a surprised look on his face, and it finally ends with Giovanni holding the same child in his arms. The photos are terribly old but they've been well preserved]

[Most of the pictures don't catch much of his interest. The forests and fossils make him pause and briefly look them over, but he stops entirely when he gets to the last few photos.

For a long time, he stares at them and carefully looks them over. Then, rather abruptly, he gets up, returns to Archer's room, and sits on the floor by his bedside with the album in his lap.]

But again, Archer is beyond caring at this point. He wakes up a healthy three hours later, still groggy and looking awful, but his body finally has the rest it needs to fight the fever. He shifts up a bit and wraps the sheets tighter around himself, wondering if Silver has gone ahead and ditched him here]
