[ ... Well. Hopefully Aurelia isn't the type who spooks easily? Because she's about to have a pair of arms wrapped loosely around her from behind, and a kiss pressed into her neck. ]

What're you reading?

[Of the many ways to describe Aurelia, spooks easily is not one of them. Yet the way she goes utterly still is as good as for those who’ve come to know her, a sign that she hadn’t consciously noticed Lyric approaching, that she’d accepted that she wasn’t a threat to the point that her subconscious didn’t sound the alarms when she entered the room.

The way she melts into the embrace, however, is something only Lyric has earned. The tension leaving her as she leans back into her arms, head tilting slightly to bare her neck.]

A book on the local languages. I’ve grown tired of having to use magic to understand what people are saying.

[She offers, lifting the book slightly, but her eyes are not focused on the page. Her attention captured in full by the other woman.]

[The visitor bell above the door of Tsumugi's Avalon flower shop tinkles merrily as a large shadow darkens its doorframe.]

Yo. Tsumugi-kun.

[It's Rei!

As he lets himself in and closes the door behind him to block the broad sunlight Rei comes into view properly. He's got a flowerpot of some kind tucked under one arm. There's a mysterious looking plant in it. One of its buds is closed. You know where this is going]

I see. [ ... only not really, because Lyric finds herself much too focused on these gifts she's been given - the relaxation and bearing of her neck - to spare more than a glance at the book. Her arms tighten around her waist, holding her securely as she continues to pepper kisses across her skin. ] I could teach you more, if you'd like?

[ It's what she should've done from the start, honestly. But in taking responsibility for Aurelia's arrival in Liche City and all it entailed, including finding a place for them to live (she's sure Chance wouldn't have minded if they stayed - might've been thrilled, even - but she didn't want to make his life more difficult than it already was), it sort of just... slipped through the cracks. ]

[Aurelia shivers with each press of Lyric's lips to her skin, the soft tingle of her affection and joy rushing through her veins as intoxicating to her as the physical sensations. Her eyes flutter shut, focusing on the taste of sweet berries blooming across her soul as Lyric's kisses forge and break the connection between them over and over.

When she does respond, it's with a soft murmur of amusement.]

Oh? I had thought you satisfied with my 'tongue training'. Do I need more... Instruction?

[Aurelia certainly can't just let Lyric have all the fun, and teasing her remains the collective favorite pastime for everyone in her circle of friends.]

[ Gesturing to the plant under his arm. It's not anything he's familiar with at a quick glance, which makes it all the more interesting! ]

[Rei readjusts his hold on the pot to offer it to the boy. His hand is large enough to grasp the bottom of the pot in its entirety.]

Looking to get this identified, or at least some manner of taxonomy I can follow up on. [His other hand reaches into a pocket while he talks, probably for a smoke.]

Iris [his techomancy assistant, if you dont remember Game Lore From Several Years Ago lmfao] couldn't get a read on the thing. You were the closest plant expert I knew. So here I am.

[ It's a little unfortunate that Leonard met Lyric when he did, opposed to before she became a Sinfluencer. Because she's been intimate with most of the people she considers friends here, including him, she doesn't think quite as hard about where she rests her hands whenever they wind up kissing. Heck, she barely thinks about kissing him at all, because it comes so naturally to her now.

Which is how her hands have come to rest on his lower back, massaging slow circles near the base of his tail that're equal parts soothing (hopefully) and... well. Actual massaging. lmao. She'll feel bad for what she's doing to his poor heart soon enough. ]

His brows furrow further. If his cheeks look a bit flush, no they don't, shut up. ]

[It is not the first time Felix has stared at him. it isn’t the first time Felix has stared at him with so much intensity. Sylvain is also pretty sure that the expression there is one he’s seen before as well, but the strange thundering feeling in his chest is trying to tell him he’s making that up. That he’s making it up right now because Felix can’t possibly be thinking what it looks like he’s thinking. Sylvain blinks owlishly, not even having the wherewithal to put on his innocent eye-batting act. He’s too flummoxed, too unbalanced.]

Felix.

[He returns with a steadier voice than he thought he would be able to manage. He’s afraid to speak more, afraid to move as if that might- what, break the spell? Wake him up from this dream?]
