[ It's a little unfortunate that Leonard met Lyric when he did, opposed to before she became a Sinfluencer. Because she's been intimate with most of the people she considers friends here, including him, she doesn't think quite as hard about where she rests her hands whenever they wind up kissing. Heck, she barely thinks about kissing him at all, because it comes so naturally to her now.

Which is how her hands have come to rest on his lower back, massaging slow circles near the base of his tail that're equal parts soothing (hopefully) and... well. Actual massaging. lmao. She'll feel bad for what she's doing to his poor heart soon enough. ]

[As long as Leonard can convince himself that he has a reason to kiss Lyric, he can now do it without excessive internal strife. It's their job, really, and they're close; both in the physical and friendly sense. It would be weirder if they didn't finish off an occasional stream with a smooch or two. So! Having his little roommate settled in his lap, her soft lips on his? He can handle that!

[ Oh- that's not a bad sound by any means, but considering how uh. worked up Leonard can get, for a lack of better words, it's probably for the best she checks in with him, and gives him a moment to catch his breath.

It's not like she doesn't need it, too, with how airy her voice is. ] Was that okay...? [ "That" referring to the fingers on his back, unmoving but remaining pressed against his skin. ]

I-I'm okay! [he tries to reassure her, but this short of breath it comes out more like a squeak. Curses.]

Sorry. [Leonard removes one large hand from Lyric's waist to delicately clear his throat. The tip of his tail thumps fretfully on the chair leg.] I meant, yes. It doesn't hurt. [the reaction was not one of Hashtag Old Man Back Problems.]

[The "because I'll want more" he is too ashamed to actually voice nevertheless hangs in the air. Even implying it has him unable to look at her.]

[ That desire, while unvoiced, comes through loud and clear in the shade of pink his cheeks take on, and the way his eyes refuse to meet hers. And while Lyric didn't kiss him with these (or any) intentions, she is painfully young and human. Exciteable, despite any attempts she makes to remain responsibly in control. The shock over just how much she's capable of getting to Leonard's long since faded, but there's still an undeniable impact. Lyric's not quite as pink, but were he to look down at her, he might see that dusting of color on her cheeks. ]

Well. [ She shifts in his lap, her restlessness betrayed through the tap tap tap of her fingers against his back. ] Now I think I'd like more.

[That snaps his eyes back to her face in a split second.]

[He sounds partly scandalized, partly admonishing... in a fond sort of way. It's too excited to come across as scolding. His tail thumps harder.]

W. Well. [He wets his lips subconsciously, hand returning shakily to her waist. He looks like a blushing maiden.] In that case, I-- won't stop you.
