( the fact haru is playing this idiot seven minutes in heaven bothers her. she's not entirely sure why, she said that she's over him and she convinced herself that she's over him. she doesn't love him. he's just a friend, a friend and nothing more. )

( but... she can't help but to glance over at him and the crowd from the corner of her eye, frowning as he dips his hand in the bowl. tch, idiot. it has nothing to do with her, anyway. )

[ wow shizuku don't judge haru for this, this is what you're supposed to do when you have a sleepover! (or, well, more like a party at a friend's house — but details!!)

the crowd's gathered around now because natsume's taking her sweet time announcing haru's game partner. she's kind of hamming it up, taking about destiny and fate and star cross'd lovers and the like an frankly haru stopped listening about two minutes in so he just quietly plucks himself away from the crowd, walks over to where shizuku's set up camp, and taps her on the shoulder.

his face is carefully impassive. ]

It's you. Let's go.

it's okay! i'm still pretty new with her too. we can be new together.

( in all honesty, she did jolt a bit when she discovered it was her being in the closet with haru and she attempts to keep her cool when he taps her shoulder. shizuku buries her face further in the book and mumbles out: )

[ her disgruntled mumble might as well have been a shout for how quiet the entire room had gotten right after it. everyone heard it, and from the way haru's face contorts, and the way his hands ball into shaking fists at his sides, everyone can't help but stare the two of them wondering what haru will do... ]

It's just a game. Games are supposed to be fun, and you're supposed to play games when you're at a sleepover.

[ he reaches forward, grabbing that book away from her face and out of her reach, while thrusting a finger towards natsume, several feet behind him. ]

once inside, he stoops down to a crouch, just a few inches in front of her. he staaaaaaaaares for a long time, his face gradually getting redder and redder as the seconds tick by. ]
