We've see it everywhere. Rings inside pokeballs, in cakes, in drinks, during baseball games and more. This meme pinpoints on some of the more interesting (and really adorable!) ways to tell someone you want to spend the restof your life with them!

So how are YOU going to propose to your darling dearest, after being together for so long? Well...

Scenarios:

1. Down on One Knee

Traditionally. Either in public or privately, one of you has taken the daring risk of becoming completely vulnerable in the midst of the other. You've got the perfect ring tucked into your coat jacket, and now all that's left is to see how the other reacts.

2. Cake

After a long, very expensive dinner, all that's left is dessert. In one bite in particular, you feel a hard...something hit your teeth. Upon investigating this strange object, you find a beautiful ring covered in cake in your hand. Look up, and you'll find your significant other looking at you with those adorable goo goo eyes you just love.

3. Fortune Cookie

It's your average night at the local Chinese resturant, nothing too special. And of course, every American knows that a good Chinese meal is never over until you eat the fortune cookie. But on this night, you crackopen your cookie, surprised to find there's a lovely little ring looking back at you. The slip of paper that goes with all fortune cookies reads a simple: "Will you marry me?" (in bed???)

4. During the Game

In the midst of the tired players taking their much earned break at half time, and the seemingly hundreds of birthday wishes flying past on the large screen, one message in particular will stand out to you. " ____ will you marry me?" And when you turn to your lover, heart thumping loudly, you'll see a huge ring presented before you.

5. In a Book

Just a quiet night together, playing some games, reading a few books. Upon locating a particular book, you crack it open, only to find that the pages have been hollowed out, leaving only a beautiful ring, and a delicate note saying "Will you marry me?" in its place.

6. During the Movies

A.k.a MysteryGuitarMan on Youtube's most adorable proposal. You've prepared a little scene at the beginning of the movies, and had the people in charge play in between movie previews. The lights go up, buddy, and now it's your time to shine!

7.One Balloon

Better known as "the most adorable scene in Super Junior's No One music video." You've got tons of balloons, and together you and your honey let them go fly into the sky. But why didn't you let the last one go? I'll say that ring attatched to the end has something to do with it!

8. Anything!

There is no doubt in my mind that I have missed out on some really cute proposals, so make your own up!

[Lydia's face was half impatient and half anxious as she waits for him outside of her house. Since Jackson had become a werewolf and her world had half straightened itself up and become a lot weirder, she wanted him around even more.

She was not going through all of that crap again and losing him. She still dreamed of him dying in her arms and she wants to keep in her arms and alive.

[That he was late was nothing new, even if he had been putting more effort into his relationship..with Lydia only. Jackson was still as much of an ass as usual to the rest of the world.

He pulls up to the curb, dressed to the nines, looks as if he has a big night planned.

Jackson actually gets out even and walks around to open up her door, surprisingly.]

You coming?

I suppose since you finally decided to turn up.

[Lydia smooths her dress down and walks up, she pauses before stepping into the car and hugs him.]

Hi.

[captain_asshole]

Hey..

[His expression softens when she hugs him, he remembers that moment, coming back to life and knowing she had saved him. He holds her a little tighter than he did before, then pulls back and kisses her.]

Now can we go.

[This was kind of important, okay.]

You're impatient [But Lydia slides willingly into the car and puts her purse down on the dashboard. She plans to make Jackson carry it for the rest of the night.]

Has this anything to do with the full moon coming up

What, no, I've got that covered.

[He could handle this, he had wanted this, the werewolf thing that is. He wants what else he has planned tonight but for once in his life, Jackson Whittemore is a little nervous. When you care about one person and only one, the thought of them rejecting you can be a little scary.]

I made reservations, if we're late we might lose our table.

[The nice dinner was actually their second stop, first Jackson headed towards the school and the lacrosse field. There was a sign of sorts she needed to see.]

Has the school opened up some sort of happy meals dinner time?

I left something on the field.

[Jackson pulls up and gets out, he even goes and opens her door, before leading her to the field.

There when they arrive is the score board, only this time it is a picture, from some party, some time ago of the two of them. Jackson holding her and you can see it, he really does love her, even when he is an ass.

He steps behind her, ring in hand with the box open while he waits for her to look at him after seeing the sign with the words "Will you marry me?"

[Lydia's always finds words to say, except for this one time. She stares up at the picture with parted lips. It's too perfect.

Lydia turns to find Jackson. She doesn't trust her own eyes when something looks good anymore. But he's there and he's real and so is the ring.]

Jackson. [And it's oh so soft and without any bite. There is never going to be any other answer. She can't be without him.

She wraps her arms around his neck.]

Yes, don't ever leave me again.

[captain_asshole]

[He worries, only because Jackson will always strive to be good enough.

But the moment she says his name, the way she says it and she is in his arms he remembers, he does not have to worry with her.

She loves him.

His arms wrap back around her for a moment and Jackson kisses her softly before he pulls away, goes to one knee before her and takes her hand to slip the diamond encrusted band on her finger.]

I won't, I promise.

[Once the ring is on, Lydia takes a moment to admire it. It sparkles in the light from the edge of the pitch. It was expensive which she loved.

She couldn't bear to stand with him kneeling for long and she drops down to kneel in front of him and kiss him. He was her equal.]

[captain_asshole]

[Jackson cups her cheeks when she kisses him, returning it with the love he felt but had so often failed at expressing. Finally he breaks the contact and rises, taking Lydia with him.


He wraps his arms around her and smiles.]

C'mon or we'll miss our dinner reservations.

Now you care about being on time?

[Disbelief as she tucks her body against his. It's so good to be enveloped by him again any time she wants.]

Where are we going?

[captain_asshole]

You're favorite place and getting a reservation was not easy. I even rented The Notebook for when we get home.

[Yup, that was Jackson making the effort to give her the perfect night, from the proposal, to falling asleep together once it was all said and done.]
