We've see it everywhere. Rings inside pokeballs, in cakes, in drinks, during baseball games and more. This meme pinpoints on some of the more interesting (and really adorable!) ways to tell someone you want to spend the restof your life with them!

So how are YOU going to propose to your darling dearest, after being together for so long? Well...

Scenarios:

1. Down on One Knee

Traditionally. Either in public or privately, one of you has taken the daring risk of becoming completely vulnerable in the midst of the other. You've got the perfect ring tucked into your coat jacket, and now all that's left is to see how the other reacts.

2. Cake

After a long, very expensive dinner, all that's left is dessert. In one bite in particular, you feel a hard...something hit your teeth. Upon investigating this strange object, you find a beautiful ring covered in cake in your hand. Look up, and you'll find your significant other looking at you with those adorable goo goo eyes you just love.

3. Fortune Cookie

It's your average night at the local Chinese resturant, nothing too special. And of course, every American knows that a good Chinese meal is never over until you eat the fortune cookie. But on this night, you crackopen your cookie, surprised to find there's a lovely little ring looking back at you. The slip of paper that goes with all fortune cookies reads a simple: "Will you marry me?" (in bed???)

4. During the Game

In the midst of the tired players taking their much earned break at half time, and the seemingly hundreds of birthday wishes flying past on the large screen, one message in particular will stand out to you. " ____ will you marry me?" And when you turn to your lover, heart thumping loudly, you'll see a huge ring presented before you.

5. In a Book

Just a quiet night together, playing some games, reading a few books. Upon locating a particular book, you crack it open, only to find that the pages have been hollowed out, leaving only a beautiful ring, and a delicate note saying "Will you marry me?" in its place.

6. During the Movies

A.k.a MysteryGuitarMan on Youtube's most adorable proposal. You've prepared a little scene at the beginning of the movies, and had the people in charge play in between movie previews. The lights go up, buddy, and now it's your time to shine!

7.One Balloon

Better known as "the most adorable scene in Super Junior's No One music video." You've got tons of balloons, and together you and your honey let them go fly into the sky. But why didn't you let the last one go? I'll say that ring attatched to the end has something to do with it!

8. Anything!

There is no doubt in my mind that I have missed out on some really cute proposals, so make your own up!

[It's okay. Really. He can handle this. Even with his tail curled between his legs, so to speak. He shuffling awkwardly like he really wants to flee.]

[He's taking one of Derek's hands, it's a firm hold but it's easy enough to break out of if Derek wanted to.]

[Derek doesn't hold tighter or pull away, but he does stare into Stiles' eyes as if they hold some kind of answer for these mixed signals.]

Derek is being pulled down into a kiss. It's slow and sweet and Stiles is pressing himself against Derek.]

[Whoa. Okay. This is Derek's language. He pulls Stiles closer by the hips. Message received loud and clear. In fact, the words were engraved on the land and made a national monument on Planet Derek. Derek puts enough action to convey even the most oblivious Stiles that he wants this. Not just the kiss or it would be wild and messy; the kiss is slightly desperate, mild but firm, and just slightly wet: the kind of kiss like their very first. A Stiles kind of kiss.]

[Clearly Derek can't speak Stiles, but at least Stiles can speak Derek. He'll wrap an arm around Derek's waist and bring a hand to Derek's cheek. Message received, Derek. Message received and accepted.]

[Good. Just as it should be. Stiles is his. Only his. Always his. Will be his. Derek possessively wraps an arm around Stiles' waist, growling softly enough to be mistaken for a purr. The kiss remains just as slow, just as tender, and Derek can't help but slip his tongue in as proof that Stiles is his.]

[He'll keep his hand on Derek's cheek and strokes his thumb along Derek's cheekbone.]

[Stiles do you know what you're doing? Like, do you actually know what you're doing? The driving Derek insane thing? The marking thing? The pressing your scent all over him thing? Because that is pretty much as good as marking in Derek's book. Pretty much good as marking and mating.

And Derek's can't help but smash their mouths together, sweet and tender, and hold them there until he can't breathe and he absolutely has to let go.]

[He's surrounded by werewolves pretty much all day. Of course he knows what he's doing. He's saying: I accept your proposal. Yes. Absolutely yes.

When Derek pulls away, he'll get a smile before Stiles rests his head on Derek's shoulder.]

You love me.

[Derek revels in that smile, can't help one of his own, and he nuzzles against the side of Stiles' head.]

[He's still smiling into Derek's shoulder. Finally. It's been years and years of lead up. Stiles is glad they finally got somewhere.]

I love you. [Said so softly that human ears couldn't pick up on it. But then, Derek wasn't human was he. It's said like a promise. Because it is.

He's loved Derek for years, but this is the first time he's ever said it aloud.]

[And Derek's thought it for so long that he's just so pleased hearing that. Howling doesn't make a difference, saying I love you doesn't make a difference, only connecting their lips and pressing their bodies together seems the right response. He's chasing after Stiles' lips no sooner than they're parted.]

[He's smiling into that kiss again. What does he smell like Derek?

Love, loyalty, devotion, contentment. There's no way they could press their bodies closer together with their clothes on, but this is good.

It's very good and Stiles is treasuring every moment of it.]

Derek attaches himself to Stiles' neck next. He has to confirm the scent on Stiles: all those delicious emotions he's wanted for so long, the smell of gunpowder laced under sweat, just a hint of the forest, and beneath all that which compose Stiles' scent, Derek. He inhaled long and deep, running the tip of his nose along Stiles' neck and rubbing his scent more thickly. His jaw is slack and there are no words for this, so he breathes softly against the skin.]
