[Dave you are such a cutie. And so needy and adorable when you're sick, gnrjkgf. Here just let John take care of you forever. He sifts through the pile of clothes and offers him the pair of boxers. They're simple, just dark blue cottony things. Comfy.]

[He keeps his hands on Dave's arms, both to keep rubbing at him for warmth and to keep him steady.]

[ Not a cutie or adorable. But he'll readily admit that he's kind of a needy asshole when he's sick. He's also a whiner, but at least he doesn't get a whiny tone, really. But oh shit, yes, comfy shit to put on. Dave is all up on this.

Also just giving up, since it's only them. He releases the towel so he can take the boxers and replace them a little more gracefully than when he took off his own underwear. ]

[ Fine, fine, Christ. Spoilsport. Getting those boxers on and then sort of reaching to wiggle the shirt out of John's grasp. Pants can come next, he's got something covering his ass right now that's totally enough for a second. ]

[Yeah okay. Forks it over and kind of puffs his cheeks up at him.]

[ Once he's pulled the shirt over his head, he just reaches one hand out for the pants and brings the other up to pat one of his puffy cheeks. ]

[Oops, nope. John's kind of stepping closer when you've got that shirt over your head, so that when you pop out of the neck he pecks your forehead.]

[ Jesus way to be cute as fuck. Dave blinks a little stupidly with it, but the papping happens regardless. Mostly because he just likes to touch John and is already feeling a little loopy. ]

At least they're adorable as fuck faces, usually.

[ But fine, he will just. Take these pants and put them on, no more tomfoolery because he actually kind of would like to flop over now if no one minds. ]

Yeah that's unfortunately a thing. Come on. [Guides him, once the pants are on him, into his room because he is not letting you sleep on the couch when his bed is there.]

[ There's of course a moment where he wants to protest, and drags his heels a little because dude you are basically putting an invalid in your bed. But he knows better than to fuss with John on these things because it leads to Faces that are not of the adorable kind and bluh.

So all you get is a barrage of sneezes that he angles into an elbow so he doesn't sneeze all over John. ]

[Wow okay Dave you are kind of cute when you sneeze how does that even make sense. John pats him gently on the shoulder and despite his sneezing continues to guide him to the bed, sitting him down.]

[Another reason he's going to have you sleep here is his keyboard is in his room. So he can play for you instead of having to play the grand from the study and hope you hear it on the couch through six afghans.]

[ Yeah well you're even cuter when you sneeze, which he knows will be a thing by the time he gets better. Sorry, John, I gave you the sickies. But fine, yes, sitting down and staying there for a moment as he snuffles annoyedly, nose scrunched up despite the fact it's all clogged up.

God, six afghans sound fantastic right then. It's not that he's really cold at the moment, he just feels like that would be the best thing ever and John would be the best person for giving him six afghans and some music. Best brofriend. ]

Here. [He removes his hand from Dave's shoulder and pulls a box of kleenex out of a drawer in his nightstand-- God only knows what those are usually used for --and offers them to him.] Blow your nose or something.

[ The possible uses for the box of kleenex aren't lost on him, but he only stares at it for a moment before he takes it from John's hands. Admittedly, he supports it from the bottom as he does so. ]

Muh. Thanks. [ There's no attractive way to blow one's nose, so he just gets it out of the way. bbbt. ]

[Iconface, basically. He moves off the bed and folds back the blankets so Dave can crawl into them when he's done expelling snot into tissues.]

You want soup now, or should I let you sleep a bit?

[ Counter iconface. He sniffs a bit before throwing away the tissues, not about to leave snot rags everywhere. John's dealing with enough. ]

I dunno, soup sounds pretty good right now. [ Yes, blessed cushy bedness. Climbing into that. ]
