[ He laughs. He had a taste for blood now, and he was fairly sure it would need to be sated by the night's end. How many would he play with this time? ]

I can't survive multiple bullets. They're so very terrified when you don't die after being shot. You see their eyes go wide and they think to run. If they try to shoot again, then it's a matter of killing them when they miss. If they're afraid, then they're already dead.

[Moro laughs.]

These guns are guns they built to fight the gods. I've seen no man survive under their blow.

But that is how you get close - get in the midst of her precious humans, and she has to wait until you're close to shoot you. That's the closest I've gotten.

[You might note the giant bullet wound in her chest.]

...The closest I'll ever get.

[ Moro's laughter only spurs his own laughter on further. ]

You're far too big to kill them so specifically.

True. Perhaps I'm simply greedy, and want to kill them all.

I won't be charging into battle for some time.

Why don't I just drag her out here, then? Perhaps...

[ He motions at the pups all around. ]

...Let her experience them?

[Moro chuckles.]

Then perhaps, I will spare your life even after the humans of Iron Town are killed.

[ Now he's back to his laughter ]

Kill everyone but me? Now why would you let me go after taking away all of my little playthings? I don't know what I would do if I had no one to watch squirm.

You seem to think that I'd want you to stay on this mountain.

I hadn't thought that far ahead. I'm more of a now guy. Now is so much more fun; and right now I'm only thinking about one thing.

[ He holds up one of his knives. ]

...I'm thinking about where I should sink this little thing in the next person I come across.

[A snort.

Moro is just so unimpressed.]

[ He eyes Moro, idly twirling his knife in his hand. ]

Tell me. Why are you always so very serious?

[Moro's face scrunches into a dark scowl.]

Would you not be, if you can even imagine being in my place? My fellow gods killed, or turned to demons? The life of the Forest Spirit endangered?

I cannot imagine that even you would be content with all life ending.

[ He shrugs, seemingly not bothered by the prospect. However, after a moment, his expression changes. Clearly, something has come to light in his head. ]

That makes you the hero instead of a villain, you know. This is a peculiar side of a coin, really. You do your thing, seriously, then. I'll stick to mine. The more I keep them occupied, the less you end up eating.

[ His usual grin returns, accompanied with a joke. ]

My word, I do hope they're nutritious enough, those humans.

I am no villain. I do what I was born to do. I protect the forest.

I've never eaten anything more disgusting in my life than a human being. It is simply the pleasure of the kill.

[ Thoughtfully, he allows a pause before he comments. ]

That sounds fun.

Guns really are too quick of a death for a human.

Though, their deaths are not so slow under my fangs. It's simply more satisfying.

[ He makes a mimicking motion with his arms and teeth before laughing. ]

Crunch crunch.

You should watch my next hunt. I'm sure you would enjoy how they scramble.

How could I ever turn down such an invitation?

I don't suppose you'll mind if I toy with any that try to run my way?

[It will certainly be chaotic.]

I do hope they bring along those weapons of theirs.

It'd be such fun to see how easily they break.

[ He laughs. Overall, it seems he has a clear goal now: Kill more humans. Easily done. No complaints. ]

[Though they're pretty old-fashioned, they certainly pack a punch. Eboshi's resolve is also pretty impressive.]

No foe of mine is so easy to break.

[ Oh, but if they're human, they're so very easy to break. He had broken so many of them. It was almost... boring, now. Except that they all screamed a little different. ]

[ He laughs and then jumps up and down a few times, making a few rather pathetic movements. ]
