[Dana's pretty good at pulling all-nighters when she's focused on something. It happens when you're a researcher. The problem is, this isn't researching, it's a slumber party. And the rule seems to be that the first few people to fall asleep at a slumber party get pranked.

Which is why she's waking up in a freezer. Without her pajamas. Why does this place even have an industrial freezer? That is her first thought, rather than something like "is anyone else in here?" or "maybe I should find the door". Holy Miltank it's cold.]

If she needs more people to get her diary to work... it's probably not a good idea to ask him. [Well...scary movies aren't really Cilan's first choice either--he's more fond of action-adventure movies or even occasionally more artsy movies. (Gosh "Yamask of the Opera" is a great movie...)

But we can totally handle this...totally.]

They're classified under the horror genre, so it should be expected that they're meant to have a more chilling taste than most movies. [He picks up The Birds and Blair Witch Projectb in particular as an example to help explain, holding one up at a time as he speaks.] This one, "The Birds", is considered an older film with a classic flavor to it and was directed by one of the most famous directors of the horror genre, while this one, "The Blair Witch Project", is a more recent film made of what's called "found footage", in which the events you watch are seen through a camera one of the characters in the movie is using, as in the style of a fake documentary. This movie actually did rather well and caused the popularity of "found footage" movies to increase due it being considered having a stylish taste in comparison to other horror movies...

[...Okay, enough observing the inside of this freezer, it's cold and she's got no idea where her clothes are. So she'll head to the door and push it open.

Except not because for some reason it won't open. It's either locked or frozen shut. She tries pushing it with her back and shoulders, but the metal is far too cold to touch for very long with any part of her body. She can tell it's sturdy enough to take a while even if she used her Anima. ...This isn't good. She can't really do much more than bang on the door a few times and shiver.]

And to answer your question... [A slight pause. Well...] I suppose it depends on your definition of violence--for example, the plot of "The Birds" is a story about birds mysteriously attacking people and is considered to have a suspenseful taste to it since they don't know why the birds have become so hostile; "The Blair Witch Project" is about a group of students who decide to go into the woods to film evidence of a creature that supposedly exists out there, and is considered to have a supernatural taste to it as strange events start to happen and they try to figure out what's causing these events to take place. From what I've been told, anything particularly violent is mostly implied rather than shown in this one.

[In fact, a lot of the "extreme" violence in Blair Witch that happens to unfortunate characters takes place off-screen...but they do always show the after of what happened to a person when they get attacked or what not...]
