They were trapped in an old garage, their backs to the wall and the whole place surrounded. There were two broken windows and one door, all of which probably had guns trained on them for any sign of movement. All in all, just another day’s work for the two master assassins. Despite the situation, despite the blood running down his arm from a shallow wound where a bullet had grazed him, when Clint looked over at Natasha he couldn’t help but grin. Of course it was preferred that their mission go to plan and they not end up in situations like this, but that wasn’t to say that he didn’t enjoy the adrenaline rush that came along with it when they went bad.
Of course it was always a plus when it was her by his side.
Nocking another arrow, Clint stood quickly and fired through the window, taking one of the gunmen clean through the chest, and then ducked down again before any of their bullets could hit him.
“How’s it looking on your side?” he called across the room to where Natasha was stationed near the other window.
