Times like this made him wonder why he loved him again, really, only for everything to come back to reality once he saw him through the looking glass, those big, gorgeous eyes bearing into him. It only served as a reminder as to why he bonded with him despite the thick and thin, why he adored him beyond his loud mouth and his lack of manners.
Sonic was special in both positive and negative ways, and that made him irreplaceable.
With that, he sighed, dropping the book gently on top of the desk. He scooted his chair back and approached, tail swaying behind him as he stepped, his expression displaying mild irritation.
