► Another character replies and is struck with the sudden urge to take care of them (bringing them soup, extra blankets, Sudafed, sexual healing, what have you).

[He blinks.] Stories? I've never read any. I'm sorry.

[Pause, then a thought comes to him]

I could tell you about a play that I did for children. Do you want to hear that?

That would be nice, I think I'd enjoy that.

[She sneezes loudly, shaking her head.]

Anything to take my mind off feeling like this.

[He puts up an index finger and smiles.]

We were doing a play about a mischievous bandit who was bad and took candy from everyone. We became friends and I helped the bandit see the consequences of such actions and turned her into a good person. Everyone was happy in the end, and all the children really liked it!

[He wasn't the best at telling stories, but he tried to make it sound as good as possible.]

[Aerith still likes it. A story is a story in her mind, and it makes her smile.]

Sounds like it was fun. I never went to see plays when I was little, I wish I could have! Did the children get candy after that?

[Because that's what she would have been most worried about at a young age - getting that candy!]

Oh! Plays are fun, you would have really liked it! Yes, they all got the delicious candy!

[He stands and looks around, as if searching for something.]

I'll get you something for your nose so you don't sneeze all over your nice clothes, okay?

[And since he's not sure where to look first, he gets down on his knees and crawls around. Now where would you put paper towels and tissues?]
